Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is our nation's public-awareness campaign that promotes drug-free choices and healthful lives. St. Paul of the Cross School celebrates Red Ribbon Week with student activities, sponsored by Student Council that support the positive aspects of a drug-free life.

Catholic Schools Week

Every year in late January, St. Paul of the Cross School, along with Catholic schools throughout the nation, celebrate the existence and the mission of Catholic Schools with Catholic Schools Week. Recalling the core values Catholic education strives to instill in every student, teacher and school administrator, a new theme is chosen each year. The theme for 2008-2009 is "Catholic Schools: Celebrate Service."

At St. Paul of the Cross School, we begin Catholic School's Week with our parish community. After Sunday Mass we invite parishioners and families to our open house. On this day, everyone is welcome to visit our school, where they can peruse the Scholastic Book Fair, tour classrooms, talk with teachers and administrators, visit with other families and pick up applications for their children.

Students participate in activities each day, we have a friendly competitions between classes, grandparents/special friends are invited to have lunch on campus and the week closes with a lively school Spirit Rally.
